The Feldenkrais® Method

The Method
The Feldenkrais Method® is a way to increase comfort, ease and potential in your daily life. It’s an opportunity to find more efficient ways of moving whether you are recovering from surgery, experiencing chronic pain, or improving your performance as an athlete or musician.
Using novel movements, done easily and with awareness, you will:
- explore new ways to move, breaking habitual patterns
- discover a sense of ease & comfort
- shift perceptions and improve relationships with oneself, others and the world
Functional Integration® — Individual Sessions Most of us have places in ourselves we don't understand or want to improve. Say you want to walk easier or awaken in the morning without a neck ache or have confidence in your public speaking: in an individual session you have a direct pathway to experience any of those possibilities. By learning more about yourself--your movement patterns, ways of breathing, posture, history, intentions--and through gentle movement, you and the teacher explore painless ways to find new places for you to fully embody you. Awareness Through Movement® — Group Classes
ATM® Classes are choreographed to heighten and refine your awareness through a progression of novel movement patterns. Designed to engage all of you, this internal exploration awakens you to new, easier paths of moving, feeling and thinking.
